Course description:

Lincoln University’s Master of Water Resource Management prepares graduates for a professional career in water resource management and develops innovative and effective methods for the sustainable management of this critical resource in New Zealand and internationally. Students can choose to enrol in Semester One (late February) or Semester Two (mid July) for this 2-year full-time Masters taught in English.

This Master of Water Resource Management (MWRM) degree is jointly offered with the University of Canterbury. It consists of 1 year full-time of taught courses, followed by a year undertaking a research thesis. It comes under research centre, the WaterWays Centre for Freshwater Management, which was established in conjunction with the University of Canterbury.

Entry Requirements:

Applicants must have a Postgraduate Diploma in Water Resource Management, or a relevant Bachelor degree with at least a B grade average in the 300 level and final year (full-time equivalent) courses. If English is not their first language, they will need to provide evidence that their level of English meets the English language requirements for admission to Lincoln.
