GREAT Scholarships in UK for International Students

Brief description:

GREAT Scholarships offer students from 14 countries the opportunity to have £10,000 towards their tuition fees for a wide range of one-year taught postgraduate courses.

71 universities across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Level/Field of study:

Eligible one-year postgraduate taught Master’s programmes offered by participating Universities (check the university page to check the specific courses that are eligible for the GREAT scholarships)

Number of Awards:

Around 210 will be offered in 2024/25 academic year.

Target group:

Students from the following countries: Bangladesh, China, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Thailand, Turkey, Vietnam

Scholarship value/duration:

The scholarship covers £10,000 towards their tuition fees for one year.

Eligibility:

You must come from a participating country (see above). You must have an undergraduate degree, be motivated, and have an interest in the proposed subject area.  You must meet the English language requirement of the UK HEI.

You must apply for individual scholarships following the instructions given on each universities’ scholarship webpages. The deadline to apply for a GREAT Scholarship varies according to each institution but falls around April – June 2024.
