  1. The hardest thing in finding scholarship is the payment asked, especially for poor African countries like Ethiopia. I am from Ethiopia in hunger of higher education. For example, I applied to London School of Business & Finance for MBA scholarship programme. The school accepted my application and promised me only to cover half of the school tuition fee.i.e.14,500 sterling pounds. So, how can I get the rest 14,500 sterling pounds to cover the school fee and cover travel expenses.Unless I cannot confirm the school that I have this amount of money I cannot proceed with my application. The school put this condition before me. How can I overcome this stumbling block and continue in my higher education? Please help me.If you can get any person or rganization that is willing to sponsor me, you can write this to Teena Pathak, the MBA programme consultant in London SChool of Business & Finance by the following email address:

I have been searching hard for scholarship for my daughter who graduated from high school in Nov. 2008 and the most hardest part of it is the kind of conditions associated with finances. Q: Are there colleges outside there (anywhere) which do not place alot of emphasis, and/or conditions, on the amount of money one has in his/her bank account as this is one of the biggest limiting factor in terms of securing a scholarship at the right college and is also the biggest culprit in terms of locking out the deserving students. Please help me secure a place for my daughter. Thanks.

Siele, you should try to find merit-based scholarships or scholarships that are not based on financial need. There are a lot of merit-based scholarships, just keep on searching. Good luck!
