what is the best way that one can get a scholarship – through organizations or through colleges?
i would like to know if there are any distance or online learning scholarships for undergraduate studies
I thought that things are easy with goodies goodies but they are not. Could civilized society help the neighbor society which are suppressed and have no way out to search for a quality education which I believe or any reasonable people believe that a quality education is one of the best means to alleviate the knotty social and political problems. I have applied and begged quite a lot of school for a scholarship but this country is not quite recognized by international community and we are ostracized. Do you see anything here that generously and discretely offer a scholarship for students who is longing for a quality education and surfeiting his thirst for a degree so that he could help himself and his society? I understand that the requirement is competitive but with experiences and the informal diligence, can an abject person find a scholarship which means everything to him? I am from Myanmar, 31 years old, hasn’t got a degree yet but have been a teacher of English for 4 years. I have done a lot of social activities during my Jesuit formation and I quite understand about how social injustices and politics work in our country. But what I need is a proper degree and to effectively serve the people in my country.
Hi William, I understand your sentiments. There are a bunch of scholarships for Myanmar to which you can apply. Good Luck.

The hardest thing in finding scholarship is the payment asked, especially for poor African countries like Ethiopia. I am from Ethiopia in hunger of higher education. For example, I applied to London School of Business & Finance for MBA scholarship programme. The school accepted my application and promised me only to cover half of the school tuition fee.i.e.14,500 sterling pounds. So, how can I get the rest 14,500 sterling pounds to cover the school fee and cover travel expenses.Unless I cannot confirm the school that I have this amount of money I cannot proceed with my application. The school put this condition before me. How can I overcome this stumbling block and continue in my higher education? Please help me.If you can get any person or rganization that is willing to sponsor me, you can write this to Teena Pathak, the MBA programme consultant in London SChool of Business & Finance by the following email address:
“Teena Pathak”
London School of Business & Finance

Siele, you should try to find merit-based scholarships or scholarships that are not based on financial need. There are a lot of merit-based scholarships, just keep on searching. Good luck!
I believe a lot of people have been helped through this program. I think I might be one of the beneficiaries.
Thanks and keep it up.

Alex, if you search hard enough, I believe you can find scholarships that would allow you to study in Europe. You can start your search by viewing our list of scholarships for study in Europe.
Emma, we have no control over the application fee because we do not process scholarship applications. The application fee is often part of the University’s policies so I am afraid we can do little about it. But you can try to ask a waiver for the application fee if you really have no funds but you must know that most Universities do not support the payment of the application fee. There are some Universities that allow you to apply for free, so maybe you should consider applying to these Universities instead.
