I would like to begin sentence with appreciation. This website is excellent. I have searched many websites and this one excel them like by 2x.

I have read all the comments above and feel sad about all the cry we make about scholarships. The irony is we were all not at the top of our classes. I said most of us. The tops won’t beg for scholarships but the the scholarship rather knock at their doors. They are worried which one to pick from 5 or more. Why? why? why? because they STUDY HARD AND SECURE GOOD MARKS! This is what we should do first before we search for scholarships. We need to be the best. I said the best of all. Then we can get scholarships.

  70. Ngambeki Audrey says:

    To whom it may concern:

I hope that this email finds you in good health. My name is Karungi Audrey Ngambeki; I am a Ugandan national currently working in a non government organization within Uganda. I have just received an offer letter to study my MA in global development and Africa from university of LEEDS UK. I am currently sourcing for funding and my inquiries have led me to contact your website.

I have looked through the website but due to the urgency and lateness of the matter, I was wondering if you could point out particularly bodies that I can approach that are specific to my current situation: I wish to know if there are any scholarships, grants or loans that I may be able to apply for in order to be able to pay for my schooling.

I hope that my inquiry may be considered.

    Kind regards
    Audrey.

    • scholars4dev says:

Audrey, if you are already admitted then it would be challenging to find external scholarships to apply to. Therefore, it is best to visit the scholarship page of Leeds University and inquire with their scholarship office about available scholarships for your programme. You can also try if your programme and University is eligible for the UK Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme but the deadline must have already passed.
