Course description:

The Department of Geosciences at ENS offers a three-year training program in earth sciences, with field and laboratory research experiences in France and abroad.  It trains researchers high in earth sciences, ocean, atmosphere and bio-geosciences (L3, Master, Doctorate), which are moving to prestigious careers in the public and private sectors. Geosciences are at the heart of major societal and environmental issues – natural risks, energy supply, water resources, pollution, climate change. They combine observations and measurements in the field and in the laboratory, physical and chemical modeling and mathematical tools to understand and predict the evolution of our planet.
