Brief description:
The International Ibsen Scholarships were initiated by the Norwegian government and will be handed out for the third time in 2010. They wish for as many relevant applications as possible, from projects throughout the world.

In previous years, projects from Asia, North-America, Europe, Africa and Australia have received scholarships.
Scholarship value/inclusions:
Scholarship funds amount to NOK 1.000.000,- (approx. Euro 125.000,-/US Dollars 150.000,-) will be awarded to Ibsen-related projects world wide.
Eligibility:
The scholarships are meant to act as incentives for critical discourse in regards to existential and society-related subject matters concerning Henrik Ibsen. Scholarships are applicable to individuals, organizations or institutions within the artistic and cultural communities.
Application instructions:
Applications should arrive no later than 15 April 2010 and must abide by the rules set for the application procedure. The application requires a full project description, budget estimate, and work schedule as outlined in the online application form.
